Well this morning my husband and I were planning to go to the gym for a workout, he got up and looked out the window to more than a couple of inches of fresh snow! I can't believe how much snow we are getting! Flurries are called for today and then I think we are supposed to get rain for a few days! I hope so, I don't like driving in all this winter weather! Oh well, a home day again! :-)
I wanted to tell you about this great 'Instant Banner Creator'! If you don't know what a banner is, it's the header at the top of my blog. I created this one using the 'Instant Banner Creator', it is completely free to use! It's really quite amazing, a simple three step system. They offer great templates to use for free, you can create your own text, choose font and colours add your own clipart or you can completely design your own banner. By this I mean, by doing your own graphics, for my banner I drew my design on my tablet and then added my text! You can make several banners and then rotate them or put them wherever you want too! I thought I'd share a little about the great products that you can purchase on Zazzle. If you've never made a purchase from Zazzle, this will give you a little overview! I have personally bought several different items from Zazzle! First off, I was very impressed with the greeting cards that I purchased! The quality of the card stock was excellent, the cards had a very nice sheen to them and the designs on the cards looked great! I gave several away for birthdays! My husband bought me one of the t-shirts that I had designed, it was the fashion tee, the fit was great for me, and the design and text on the shirt turned out perfect! I definitely recommend these! Recently I also purchased two different calendars, a scenic calendar and a floral one, both of excellent quality. The photo's turned out very nice! I would recommend these for gifts as well! Winter Wonderland

Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We had a fabulous Christmas. The guys opened their stockings around 9am. I know they're big boys but the stockings are still one of their favourite christmas traditions! We opened gifts and had a fabulous Christmas breakfast! We put the turkey in to cook around 11am. Christmas dinner was awesome and I think we all ate a little too much! The snow was still coming down as it is right now! I haven't seen this much snow here for years! My oldest son build this snow fort in the back yard! He build a bench inside that can seat several adults! See Photo) Unbelievable hey! The weather says another 10cm today! It's weird kinda being snowed in! Oh well, it's cozy by the fire and christmas tree lights! That's it for now!

Brr... So Cold!

It has been snowing again since last night! Wow, I'm so glad I'm not one of those last minute shopper's cause I wouldn't want to be out in this weather! It is still snowing and it looks very winter wonderlandish but very cold! I stuck my head out the door this morning and took a couple of photos of the snow, as you can see! Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and that 2009 brings great things your way! Time to get creating and working on some new design ideas! Well we woke up to snow coming down this morning! We now have about 3 inches or so and it is still coming down in big flakes! I went outside to clean the snow off my vehicle and to shovel the driveway when I realized my son took the shovels with him snowboarding yesterday and is not home until tonight! So I hope I can get out of the driveway later when I have to go out! I prefer to stay home on snowdays with a nice pot of coffee and work on my zazzle designs. I think it's a good day to work on snowy designs, snowmen and winter scenes!

We'll I just found out that I may be working extra days this coming week and monday and tuesday of the following week, so I had a panic moment and thought wow, I better get my wrapping done today! We went to the Christmas concert at our church last night! It was a kids musical, they all did an awesome job, acting and singing! Brought back lots of memories of our boys in their younger years! So this morning I spent about 3 hrs. or so wrapping gifts! Glad that I am finished that! Just have a couple gifts to put together for work! Things at Zazzle have been busy, I have found that mugs with cute sayings have been a popular selling item for me! They do make great gifts for friends and co-workers ect. Well I feel a little foggy today, have a bit of a cold! So much going around out there, everywhere you go someone has a cough or cold it seems! Well I'm glad to say my Christmas shopping is done, just picked up the last of my guys stocking stuffers! I think I'll just take it easy for the rest of today and finish off my christmas cards! I don't know where the time is going! How's everyone else doing with your list, getting there I hope! :-) Yesterday I finished writing an article on Jazz music, and designed some products for those who like Jazz as well! Some I'll post here, others you can see at my store! I also finished up a few more Christmas designs that I was working on! Well that's it for today,
